Frequently asked questions

Can I send cards direct?  How do I add my greeting?


Yes. Follow the prompts and type your message into the text boxes. Each text box represents a space and position on the card where a greeting or message can be written. Some cards have two print positions but most have three (ideal if you’ve got a lot to say!) and we’ll print it as you’ve typed it.


Can I buy cards to write myself?


Yes you can. If you wish to have cards delivered to you so that you can write and deliver them, make your selection in the normal way and select the send to me link. Fill in your address and we will post your order to you in an outer envelope.


What if I don't like the cards after I receive them?


We offer a full refund for cards that are returned to us still in their packaging.


How do I find my card?


Just like you would in a shop but without the hassle. On our home page use the drop down menus to select a combination of type and occasion, or leave the selection at the default setting [all]. You can be as specific or as general as you wish - it’s easy, try it and you’ll see.


How much does it cost?


You’ll find each card individually priced in £ Stirling (GBP).

If we are sending the card direct to the recipient then there is a supplementary charge of £0.85 for adding your message to each card and posting.

If we are sending cards to you, untouched, so you can write and send them, there is a fixed postage charge of 85p (£0.85) however many cards you order. All costs will be clearly marked in the Shopping Basket prior to paying.


How do I pay?


With any credit/charge card on the secure Worldpay site. Please note that in the unlikely event of fraudulent use of your credit card by any third party, YOU ARE FULLY INSURED.


How do I know you’ve got my order?


As soon as your order is received we will send you an email acknowledging receipt.


How long does it take to deliver?


We’ll post your card and greeting within 24hrs for immediate orders, or on the date you’ve requested for advance orders. Remember, although most first class post is delivered the following day on mainland UK, allowing 3 days for postal delivery in the UK and 7 to 10 days for the rest of the world is a safer option.


Can I order cards well in advance?


Of course. We’ll accept orders up to 12 months in advance.


Can I send cards anywhere?


Yes, from anywhere to anywhere. Just follow the prompts on screen.


How do I know it’s been sent?


On the day your card is posted, we’ll send you an email to let you know.


What are the benefits of becoming a CornerCardshop member?


You don’t have to be a member to use the normal CornerCardshop services but by becoming a member you can enjoy all the timesaving benefits that membership brings.
1. It’s free and without obligation.
2. You can track your order online in the membership area.
3. You can hold and edit your address book (password protected) on our server.
4. You will get notification of Special Offers and New Services.
5. You won’t have to laboriously enter addresses each time you use our services. If the recipient is in your address book you just select to add their details and they will appear on the envelope.


What if I forget my password or username?


Don’t worry, fill in your email address on the login page and press Request Password. We’ll check your email address against the one you registered and, if they correspond, we’ll email it to you.


How can I cancel an order?


If you need to cancel an order, send an email to service@cornercardshop.com and every effort will be made to prevent your order from being posted. However, as cards are normally printed as soon as the order is received, it may not be possible to offer a refund.
