WeddingsThere
is nothing I love more than a wedding. The
nervous groom, the flowers, the bridesmaids and the bride, in
her wedding dress.
The photographs and the bossy wedding photographer
making the most of the weather. Chatting with family you
haven't seen for ages, because you only get together at weddings and
funerals and weddings are certainly the better of the two. Drinks
on an empty stomach and then the wedding breakfast (the first meal
after the wedding).
Speaches, good ones, bad ones, embarrassing ones, short
ones, long ones, a wedding wouldn't be the same without speaches. Somebody
always starts a sweepstake on the length of
the best man's.
The evening party, the drunk teenager being sick,
the drunk bridesmaid having a little cry. Dads dancing to Come on Eileen,
aunts dancing to the weather girls. All of these things only happen at weddings.
